The Latin American company Fracttal announced the acquisition of the Spanish firm TCMAN, a developer of the GIM platform; however, the amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

The deal not only strengthens Fracttal’s international expansion but also positions a technology with over 35 years of experience in Spain as part of its global AI-based ecosystem.

The GIM platform, developed by TCMAN, is used by more than 250 organizations, including companies such as Serveo, Acciona, Eiffage, Moncobra, Sanitas, and Quirón. Its technology enables infrastructure, industrial, and service companies to manage critical assets with efficiency, reliability, and operational continuity.

Throught this acquisition, Fracttal—which already operates in more than 60 countries and manages over 20 million assets—absorbs TCMAN’s regional expertise and customer base at a time when maintenance is establishing itself as a strategic function within organizations.

“We share the same conviction: maintenance is a key ally in building a more sustainable, safe, and efficient world. This partnership allows us to accelerate that transformation, combining decades of industry experience with advanced technology and artificial intelligence to help the industry operate better,” said Christian Struve, CEO and co-founder of Fracttal, in a statement.

In the short term, both companies will move forward with a gradual integration that will enable the incorporation of new capabilities based on artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and integration with IoT technologies within the Fracttal ecosystem.

Beyond the transaction, the move reflects a broader transformation in the sector. With maintenance becoming an increasingly strategic function (especially in physically asset-intensive sectors such as infrastructure, industry, energy, and healthcare), companies face the challenge of operating more efficiently, anticipating failures, and extending the useful life of their equipment.

The acquisition comes just a few months after Fracttal closed a US$35 million funding round, an investment it will use to strengthen its artificial intelligence capabilities, accelerate product development, and expand its presence in strategic markets across Europe and Latin America.

For TCMAN, the integration marks a new phase after more than three decades of activity in the Spanish market. “For over 30 years, we have helped companies across multiple sectors better manage their assets. Joining Fracttal allows us to expand the reach of our technology and continue evolving our solutions in a context where maintenance is becoming increasingly strategic,” said Eloy Ortega, founder of TCMAN.
